A USAT referee will be on-site throughout the race. Failure to adhere to these rules will result in a time penalty or disqualification.

- Packet Pickup at Race Site Pavillion from 5 – 7 pm
- 5:30 am – Transition Opens
- 5:30-6:45 am – Packet Pickup / Body Marking / Chip Pick Up
- 6:45 am – Pre-Race Meeting
- 7:00 am – Race Start!!
- 10:00 am – Awards
Awards will be presented in the following categories: - Top 5 Overall Male & Female
- Overall Masters Male & Female
- Overall Grandmasters Male & Female
- Overall Senior Grandmasters Male & Female
- Top 3 Relay Teams
- Top 3 Handicap Division
- Top Three Male & Female in the following age groups:
- 19 & Under
- 20-24
- 25-29
- 30-34
- 35-39
- 40-44
- 45-49
- 50-54
- 55-59
- 60-64
- 65-69
- 70 & Over
Swim
- Starts at 7 am
- The transition area and swim will be at the boat ramp area off Wilkins-Wise Road (see map below).
- 600 yard swim will start in a time trial fashion with each athlete entering the water every 3-5 seconds.
- Athletes will start in the order of registration.
- Swim starts and exits at boat ramps.
- There will be safety personnel in the water.
- After exiting the water, each athlete will run a short distance to the transition area, serving as the bike and run transition.
- The 17 mile bike is mostly flat and very fast (see map below).
- Volunteers and police are on the bike course at each turn.
- There are orange arrows on the roads at each turn.
- Each athlete will bike out and back to the same transition area.
- There are some small speed bumps in the park area at the end of Wilkins Wise Rd, so be careful!!
- Although we strive to make the course as safe and controlled as possible, the roads are still open to traffic, so be aware and careful.
- The 3.3 mile run will be out and back to the finish line (see map below).
- Run is mostly flat, but will be HOT, so hydrate at the aid stations, where there will be water and sports drink.

Finish:
- The finish line area will be next to the transition area, where there will be food and refreshments.

DIRECTIONS:
From Tupelo
- Take Hwy 45 S from Tupelo to Columbus
- Turn Right onto Wilkins Wise Rd from Hwy 45
- Race site will be approximately 1.9 miles on the Right
- Take Hwy 82 West from Tuscaloosa to Columbus
- When in Columbus, get off at the 18th Avenue Exit
- Take a Right at the end of the ramp onto 18th Avenue
- From 18th Avenue, take a Right onto Hwy 45
- Take a Left onto Wilkins Wise Rd from Hwy 45
- Race site will be approximately 1.9 miles on the Right
- Take Hwy 82 East from Starkville to Columbus
- When in Columbus, get off at the Hwy 45 North Exit
- Take a Left onto Wilkins Wise Rd from Hwy 45
- Race site will be approximately 1.9 miles on the Right
- Take Hwy 45 North from Meridian to Columbus
- Just outside of Columbus, take the US-45 N/US-82 E ramp to Columbus
- When in Columbus, get off at the Hwy 45 North Exit
- Take a Left onto Wilkins Wise Rd from Hwy 45
- Race site will be approximately 1.9 miles on the Right
